The newly designed coins and banknotes protect and guard against counterfeiters. Also, it is a way to apply new upgrades in all the banknotes not just to be as well on the trend, but also to establish good security for the Filipino people. This practice will be difficult for the counterfeiters to reproduce an exact copy of the money. Its mission is to protect the integrity and value of our currency against a felon.

Diokno also stated that the new 1000 Peso Polymer bill will also be seen in the country’s Automated teller machine (ATM). He also added that the new 1000 Peso Polymer bill, as well as the current 1000 Peso paper bill, will be circulated and used for payments.
