Bria House and Lot: Silang – East Interchange of Cavite – Laguna Expressway soon to be completed

Silang – East Interchange of Cavite- Laguna Expressway soon to be completed

Subsection 5 of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) that will connect the Sta. Rosa – Tagaytay interchange to Silang East Interchange, based on the latest reports, is inching closer to completion. The construction of the 45-kilometer-long expressway, with an estimated total cost of 45.43 billion PHP, began in July 2019. After nearly 2 years in the making, this section linking Santa Rosa to Silang is already 93% complete. The particular subsection is targeted to be opened by the third quarter of 2021, expecting around 5,000 motorists daily.

CALAX expressway, upon whole project completion, would connect Manila-Cavite Expressway in Kawit to the South Luzon Expressway in Binan. The whole project aims to support national development policy and provide efficient transport facilities for the eco-zones in Cavite and Laguna. It is also expected to ease traffic and congestion to improve the competitiveness of Cavite and Laguna as an investment destination. Commuters and drivers passing through Aguinaldo Hiway, Governor’s Drive, and Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road will benefit from this project as the following roads will be decongested. Economic progressions are also expected to be accelerated as it connects the two provinces in the Region IV-A area. At present, toll structures of the upcoming Silang East interchange are already erected while other miscellaneous works including construction of drainage system, and installation of expressways road and safety features (road lights, guard rails, barriers, etc,) remains on track.

Laguna and Cavite residents will soon mutually enjoy the easier access going from Laguna to Cavite and vice versa. As the two provinces house the largest populations in the Calabarzon area, it is a given fact that thousands of motorists travel to and from each province. Similarly, industrial areas are abundant in both locations. Traffic composition indicates that over 3,000 trucks share the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay road daily and nearly 20,000 vehicles per day in total. The completion of the Silang – East Interchange will not only shorten travel time for traveling motorists but will also aid in accelerating economic progress for the said provinces.

Its operator, MPCALA Holdings Inc., is a subsidiary of the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation. Consequently, vehicles with Easytrip RFID are eligible to pass through CALAX and its subsections. However, in hopes of lessening the hassle for Autosweep users who regularly traverse SLEX, motorists with Auto sweep RFID can now use CALAX as well. They can do this provided that their Autsweep RFID is registered with Easytrip. Rather than getting an Easytrip tag, all they need to do is register their Autosweep with the Easytrip system. Plus, it also helps lessen the risk of contracting the dreaded COVID-19 virus as they can enjoy seamless, cashless toll-free access.

BRIA CAVITE TO BENEFIT FROM SILANG – EAST INTERCHANGE COMPLETION

Bria Homes, a subsidiary of one of the largest real estate companies in the country, boasts three progressive and ideal house and lot developments in the province of Cavite. Two projects are located in the city of General Trias and one in the provincial capital, Trece Martires. With the imminent completion of the Silang – East Interchange Completion, the average travel time of 1 and a half hours from the Bria House and Lot developments going to Laguna will even be cut short significantly. This paves the way to lessen travel time for motorists headed to Laguna as a new alternative route can be utilized. With this, it would not come as a surprise if properties around the vicinity of the interchange see some increase in their values. Business and property owners may see this development as an opportunity to add selling points to their products and services. With the advent of multiple infrastructures and road construction around and within Cavite, the decision to purchase real estate properties, from Bria Homes especially, becomes a more viable option for investment now more than ever.

Meanwhile, Bria Homes continue to offer affordable house and lot to its buyers, while also establishing a community that enables its residents to thrive. Aside from being almost a ride away from major infrastructures and developments, it also brings the necessities of people closer to them.
