Lipa City Colleges (LCC) is one of the well-known educational hubs in Lipa. The Business Institute was founded after the occurrence of World War 2 in July 1947, fulfilling the sincere and noble desire of the late educators, Ricardo, and Marcela Bonilla. Its humble beginnings included classes held in rented buildings along B. Lipa City’s Morada Avenue. What would later become Lipa City Colleges began with an enrollment of 65 students enrolled in a secondary course. After 70 years of guidance from their vision and mission, Lipa City Colleges has been one of the region’s major educational institutions, creating responsible professionals since its inception. Batangas State University (BSU) is a Level IV state university in the province of Batangas. The  University, founded in 1903 as a manual training school, is the country’s oldest higher education institution in the Calabarzon Region. It was turned into a state college in 1968 under RA 5270 and renamed Pablo Borbon Memorial Institute of Technology.
